ABOUT US
Although our home office is in Oklahoma, we can service clients in Overland Park, Kansas, a Kansas City suburb, and the county seat of Johnson County. As of the 2020 census, the population reached 198,000. With the Arkansas River on one side and U.S. Route 75 on the other, this is one of Kansas' fastest-growing cities with businesses moving here, bringing employees and attracting more families.
The city's economy is mostly the service sector, with health care, professional and technical services, retail trade, finance and insurance, and information technology ranked as the 5 largest industries and employers here. This includes companies with headquarters here like Black & Veatch, Yellow Corporation, Ferrellgas, Ash Grove Cement, Waddell & Reed, and Compass Minerals.
The families in Overland Park enjoy many activities and entertainment, including the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens with 300 acres of nature, the Johnson County Museum, and taking the kids to Kidscape for an afternoon or shopping at the Oak Park Mall. Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means a high level of responsiveness and engagement from our team.
