ABOUT US
Although we are based in Tulsa, we can service clients in neighboring areas like Broken Arrow, a suburban city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The population of Broken Arrow is 98,850. This makes it the fourth-largest city in the state. The city's demographics are similar to those of Tulsa. This city has an average of three events per year and is considered a great place to live for those looking for a good quality of life. For those looking for a new home, there are many options in this area.
Originally a township, Broken Arrow is the oldest town in the area. The community has a large railroad presence. It was first platted in 1902. In addition to its railroad service, the city was served by the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railway. The community was incorporated in 1903 and is now a thriving, diverse city. The economy was based on agriculture, but coal became an important part of the area's economy in the early 20th century.
The townsite of Broken Arrow was surveyed on October 16, 1902. It included the 120-acre Creek Nation allotment owned by Stephen Franklin and the 80-acre allotment of Harry Sells. Billy Atkins purchased 40 acres adjoining the south-eastern edge of the townsite. At the time, these allotments were restricted to sales. However, the Indian Appropriation Act changed this restriction. The city's public library system consists of two branches.
Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means a high level of responsiveness and engagement from our team.
We believe in the importance and significance of community and being part of something bigger than yourself. We have a passion for historic revitalization, community consciousness and involvement, responsible design, and incremental development. We recognize the huge impact that places and spaces have on people. We strive to create places where people belong.
