Needs Analysis + Programming

Needs analysis, or programming, is key to ensuring that the design will meet the needs of the project.

Before beginning design, we help you establish the physical needs to be meet, such as intended functions, general sizing, quantities, adjacencies, and any other information about what needs to happen in the space.

In addition to physical needs, we also establish goals and priorities for the project, that we can use throughout design process to keep things on track.

We include Programming in our Full Scope Architectural services, but it can also be provided as a stand-alone effort to help quantify your needs as you begin your project journey.

The end result of our programming effort is a Program Document. This document is a report of all the information gathered, broken down by space and function, and then summarized in a way that can be used as a guideline moving forward.
