ABOUT US
Although we are based in Oklahoma, we can service clients in Kansas in cities like Wichita, the county seat for Sedgwick County. The population of almost 400,000 have the 7th largest zoo in the country to enjoy, where the 3rd largest elephant exhibit calls home. With several wildlife parks, 7 are Humane Certified Awarded, and the country's largest dinosaur theme park, there is plenty to entertain children and visitors.
Wichita, Kansas, is at the junction of Interstate 35 and U.S. Route 54 and is 157 miles north of Oklahoma City and 181 miles southwest of Kansas City. It is situated on the Arkansas River close to Flint Hills on the edge of the Wellington-McPherson Lowlands region. A topography creates a characterized terrain with moderately rolling slopes, rising to the higher land.
With 28,000 employees, the healthcare industry is the 2nd largest employer here, with aircraft manufacturing next. Koch Industries, Cargill Meat Solutions, Chance Morgan, a roller coaster manufacturer, and Dead & Deluca, a gourmet food retailer, are key employers in this area. Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means a high level of responsiveness and engagement from our team.
