ABOUT US
Although we are based in Oklahoma, we can service clients in Minnesota in cities like Rochester, the state's 3rd largest city and the county seat of Olmsted County, with a population of 121,395, where the Mayo Clinic was established. The clinic is the core of the state's economy. With over 34,000 residents employed and over 2 million visitors each year. That number of visitors facilitates the economy in hotels, restaurants, and retail industries.
Several Rochester buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On that list includes the historic Chateau Theatre and Avalon Music. Founded in 1919, the Rochester Symphony Orchestra & Chorale still performs today. Other employers include IBM, Charter Communications, and state and city government.
Minnesota sits at a slightly higher altitude and has humid, warm summers and cold winters that see over 50 inches of snow and 30 inches of rain annually. The Rochester Airport is just outside the city limits, and three U.S. highways provide the city with open transportation routes. Biking is encouraged by the town, providing several bike trails, and city busses are equipped with bike racks.
Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means our team's high level of responsiveness and engagement.
