ABOUT US
Although we are based in Oklahoma, we can service clients in Pennsylvania in cities like Erie, the county seat of Erie County and the state's 5th largest state. The 2020 Census counted a population of 94,831 over the 19.3 square miles of the northwestern part of the state.
Erie, Pennsylvania, is in the snow belt part of the country but experiences a wide range of weather, including fog, ice, rain, thunderstorms, and snow. This humid subtropical environment has lake-driven snow, but the winters are moderately cold.
The industry of large manufacturers that the area was once known for declined in the late 20th century. Today, the economy has a more diverse mix of midsized industries, which has broadened the economic base to include smaller and more agile plastics and steel plants. Other sectors in Erie include the health, insurance, and tourism industries.
Regarding culture, the Erie Philharmonic still exists with a group of professional musicians that includes a full chorus. The Lake Erie Ballet performs throughout the year, and the Erie Civic Music Association attracts sponsors and book performances, including professional entertainers, musicians, singers, and ensembles.
Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means our team's high level of responsiveness and engagement.
