We are seeking a driven and passionate individual for an Architect position, with specific experience in significant new construction multi-family projects. As Architect, you will work closely with all members of the Method team and play a key role in projects from design through completion.  

This role is in person and will be based out of our Tulsa, OK office. We offer a hybrid, flexible work environment, based on the individual. We are not considering fully remote for this role.

Position Compensation Details: 

  • Expect approximately 40 hours per week for Full-Time.

  • Hourly rate of $70k-110k annual salary, depending upon experience and skills

  • Be able to create and manage a project schedule and create the appropriate tasks from that schedule

  • Be comfortable with an Agile-style project management philosophy

  • Be an excellent communicator through digital means (Slack, Zoom, Dropbox Capture)

  • Be comfortable managing and working with fully remote team members

  • Be comfortable with some travel as-needed for projects or full-team company retreats

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to analyze, conceive, and develop architectural solutions to their goals

  • Be the champion for the design of the project from beginning through completion

  • Plan project budget, milestones, tasks, and schedule

  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of drawings

  • Prepare drawings within Revit

  • Write/edit or direct development of architectural specifications utilizing BSD SpecLink

  • Create digital redlines via Bluebeam and/or Trace

  • Coordinate workload through all phases to complete projects on schedule

  • Provide supervision and guidance to others assigned to facilitate the delivery of a project, both in person and fully remote

  • Direct and coordinate with the engineering disciplines and third party equipment vendors, reviewing construction documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines

  • Plan, initiate, and run project meetings - setting agendas, and issuing meeting minutes

  • Ensure code and accessibility compliance utilizing building, life safety, health, and accessibility codes

  • Coordinate Construction Contract Administration efforts, including addenda, ASI, RFIs, PRs, Pay Apps, and Change Orders. Incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents

  • Assist with project invoicing and billing

Experience and Credentials:

  • Preferred: Licensed and/or Registered Architect in at least one state in the U.S. (International licensure will be considered)

  • Preferred: NCARB certification

  • Revit knowledge required.

  • 6-12+ years of experience

  • Graphic design skills are a plus
